To celebrate 150 years of Christianity in Taiwan, the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan commissioned the artist to design a cross that would be erected on top of Yushan Mountain. For this design, the artist used wood(gaoge wood a resurrected wood) from Taiwan's most precious cypress trees, which are 2,000 years of age and share a birthday with Jesus. At 5 a.m. on October 7th of 2015, the Lord’s light enlighten the tallest peak of Yushan… This was an amazing and touching sight to see!
