First is the impoverished environment before the retrocession, like life in a deep valley. Second is the increasing affluence after the retrocession. Third is the misconduct that happened in society after the economic miracle in small Taiwan. The flock of sheep represents how the residents finally awakened after experiencing hardship and worked together, uniting as one to surge towards the light.
